And VR does need more killer experiences. The water depth in the area is 250 metres. As a matter of fact, I haven't gotten into it too far yet because of holding out for a VR version. Draugen is an oil field with associated gas in the southern part of the Norwegian sea. I agree, Draugen would be a great fit for VR. It might be a small audience in itself but if your game is known as 'a killer VR experience' and gets a reputation then it could sell well for years as the VR audience grows. A game that might have a niche audience in 2D might sell very well in VR, simply because of a lack of other options. There is a lack of quality, narrative experiences like this that would translate very well to VR. However for games like Draugen, VR is a really good fit. Sure and I would never expect VR support for something like Monster Hunter. This looks like it would be amazing in VR! Most people who have VR sets still enjoy regular games too. The Draugen is based on Draugr, an undead creature from Norse mythology.Originally posted by Natteravn:Any plans for VR support? I really want to play this game, but I just can't go back to playing first person games on a flat screen anymore, nor can most people who have VR sets. The Draugen is considered undead and thus is affected by the salve amulet. Before he is found, he takes the form of a grey Butterfly with the examine text of "Flutter by oh butterfly", although note there are multiple of these butterflies, and only one of which is the The Draugen. A common strategy to find it quickly is by waiting in a specific location until it is nearby, usually by the river. After a while it will teleport far from its last location, which gives the player the message in their chatbox "The Draugen has moved elsewhere.". Depending on where it is found, it may be lured behind a tree stump and safespotted. In order to fight the Draugen you must use your Hunter's talisman on the correct tile for him to appear. It will periodically move around, where it can be anywhere from the river leading to Rellekka by the Council workman spanning all the way east, and in the forest area east of Rellekka. This works very much like a Runecraft talisman, telling the player in which direction to travel to find the Draugen. It can only be found by using a Hunters' talisman given by Sigli. The Draugen is a monster encountered during The Fremennik Trials quest that must be defeated in order to gain council member Sigli's vote.
